Dr. Frei is a member of the Parkinson Study Group.

Dr. Frei has conducted clinical research in inherited metabolic neurological diseases such as Gaucher and Fabry’s Diseases.   Dr. Frei is interested in diagnosing and developing treatments for these disorders. Past research has included Phase I and Phase II studies for enzyme replacement in Gaucher and Fabry's Diseases, diagnosis of unknown leukodystrophy patients, Mucolipidosis Type IV pathophysiology,  neuroimaging of Pelizaeus- Merzbacher disease,  and treatments for Niemann-Pick C disease. 

Dr. Frei conducts clinical trials on Parkinson's disease and other movement disorders.  She has authored 6 journal submissions.
